Test Types

A test-type in the C19T system consist of 4 parts:

  1. disease (e.g. cov19)
  2. test procedure (e.g. pcr, antigen, ...)
  3. manufacturer (e.g. roche, abbott, ...)
  4. material (e.g. saliva, nasopharyngeal_swab, ...)

By combining those 4 identifiers with a . you get the final test-type. You can skip single parts by just leaving the empty.

Examples:

  • cov19.antigen..
  • cov19.pool_pcr..saliva
  • cov19.pcr..nasopharyngeal_swab

Except for vaccines the manufacturer-part is used very rarely.

Value sets​

1. Disease​

We currently only support cov19 as disease.

2. Test procedure​

Allowed values are:

  • antibody
  • antigen
  • pcr
  • pool_pcr
  • vaccine

3. Manufacturer​

Please contact us for a list of manufacturers.

4. Material​

Allowed values are:

  • unknown (default, better use empty string)
  • nasopharyngeal_swab
  • saliva
  • capillary_blood
  • blood
